Welcome to my Velocity coverage, I'm Kevin Anderson here.
We begin the show with the French Phenom Rene Dupree vs. The Prince of Punk Shannon Moore. Nice to see Moore back in the ring. Romero and Matthews weren't actually there considering poor Stevey got sick. What a loser. I've seen workers fight with the flu or with a broken leg, where as Romero, whom is an announcer, has got the sniffles. Idiot. They still did commentary and acted like they were there, but it was obvious.
1. Rene Dupree vs. Shannon Moore:
They lock up, Dupree gets Moore in the corner, gets a nice "USA" chant. Dupree taunts and gets booed. Moore hits a school boy for the near fall. Dupree, pissed off, beats the crap out of Moore and throws him to the outside. Shannon is thrown back and starts to fight back, only to get spinebusted by Dupree. This is followed by everybody's favorite French dance, The French Tickler. Gotta love it baby. Dupree goes off the ropes and hits a bad looking falling punch to Moore's face for a near fall. Dupree goes for what looks like a powerbomb, Moore reverses and takes Rene down for a cover. 1, 2, NO! Rene kicks out. Moore begins to go crazy on Rene going off the ropes and even mimicking the French Tickler. Meh, cheap immation. Shannon hits a nice swinging neckbreak but gets another near fall. Dupree gets Moore back into the corner and lifts him to the top, only to get kicked down. Moore jumps to the top and hits a hurricanrana on Dupree for another near fall. Moore, seemingly frustrated, taunts to the crowd, runs to the other turnbuckle, jumps onto the second rope than flips over onto Dupree. But wait! Dupree gets to a knee and Rene counters it and Shannon lands on Rene's knee. Moore gets up and is nailed with the Nail in the Coffin, I mean the "Dupree Driver" for the win over Moore. Decent match.
Coming up next, Eddie turns psycho!
The JBL/Cena Judgment Day commercial plays. Can't wait. Ending should be interesting to see. JBL will never quit, and Cena, Cena's just Eminem reincarnated. Wow, J-Day's about a week away and they've got 3 matches confirmed. Dang, talk about last minute booking...
We return with Eddie G's psycho promo from Smackdown. Great promo. Eddie is fantastic as heel. He's so flexible both ways, but this is my favorite side of Eddie yet. In the past we've seen heel Eddie, but not like this. We did see cocky funny heel Eddie, but this is more serious and sadistic. I love it. J-Day should be amazing considering they'll be given more time than WrestleMania. Nobody steals Eddie Guerrero's Latino Heat!
We return to Velocity for some Crusierweight tag action. Well 3/4's Crusier. Akio and Kidman vs. Nunzio and Mark Jindrak. What's Jindrak doing there? What's Jindrak doing there face? Why is he face? Do people even know who he is? So many questions, no clear answers...
2. Akio and Billy Kidman vs. Mark Jindrak and Nunzio:
Before the bell rings 'Nun and Mark share a hug. Seriously. Gay. It was even more odd as Jindrak's at least a foot taller than Nunzio. Little Guido, er, Nunzio was a Full Blooded Italian. Italian's don't hug men. What happened? I think Mark's just gay. Poor Nunzio. Lockup between Jindrak and Billy to start off. Jindrak takes early control, then fights back, only to get a nice Dropkick from Mark. Tag to Nunzio as he hits a nice neakbreaker. Akio gets tagged in and some high flying action here. Followed by 2 rollups as Akio runs to the outside leading to a trap from Billy who rams Nun into the barricade. Akio brings him in for a two count. He then hits a suplex and tags back in Kidman. Kidman locks on a submission as the crowd wills Nunzio. Nunzio flips over for a roll up, 2 count. Billy hits a shot, hard shot to Nunzio, who kicks out. As Jindrak distracts the ref, Akio and Kidman beat down on Nunzio.
Kidman continues his assualy and takeshim to the top rope. Nunzio powers out and nails the "Sicilian Slice" second rope leg drop, shifting the momentum. Jindrak is tagged back in and goes wild on both men. Mark elevates Akio in the air so high I think he could of gotten slammed dunked into a freakin' basketball hoop. Jindrak gets both men in the corner and cross bodies both of them. Jindrak awaits Akio and is nailed by the right hand. Cover....no! Kidman breaks it out, but Nunzio is back and throws him out. Nunzio throws Akio into Jindrak and is caught by the top rope cross body. 1, 2, 3! Sub par...
Both men celebrate as we hit the commercial...
Immediatly after we return, John Cena's "Bad, Bad Man" is played yet again for us... Whoopie. I'm no einstein but the video was very cheesy and kind of lame. I thought it'd be funny but it just didn't fit right. Still, good song. Best part, Cena saying to Gary Coleman, "Whatchu talkin' bout Gary? Who am I to say it was lame though. I'm white, hate rap, and and am from Utah.
We return and go back to ring for more action...
3. The Basham Brothers vs. Jose and Joel Maximo:
Doug begins with Jose. Doug takes down Jose a couple of times and he leaves the ring. Jose back in with a crossbody from the top rope. He applies a side headlock, but Danny interferes and now is officially tagged in. Danny stomps away on Jose. Joel tagged in now. Danny with a back suplex and follows it up with an elbowdrop. He tries a scoop slam, but Joel floats through and connects
with a couple of chops. A hiptoss attempt is blocked by Danny, who hits a clothesline and tags in Doug. Doug now chops away at Joel. Doug with a back suplex of his own and Danny comes back in and together they apply a camel clutch/boston crab combo. Danny continues to stomp away on Joel before tagging Doug back in. Doug with some forearms and a side Russian leg sweep. He applies
a seated abdominal stretch, but Jose comes in to break it up. Jose now tagged in. He goes after Danny, but walks right into a leg lariat from Doug for the 1-2-3. Pretty much a squash, just bleh...

WWE Rewind: Kurt Angle wants to make love to Sharmell.
Smackdown: We see the closing moments of the Booker T-Kurt Angle match and the events that follow. I'm not sure I like the direction this feud has taken, but Sharmell was prettyconvincing here compared to many other of the Divas when placed in similar roles. Very unlike Angle though to make those comments, very out of character to me.
We run down the Judgment Day card: Booker T vs. Angle, Rey Mysterio vs. Eddie Guerrero, John Cena vs. JBL I Quit. Hmm, 3 matches and a week away. Good booking WWE!

WWE Slam Of The Week: Cena and JBL get in a fight...again!
4. Orlando Jordan vs. Scotty Too Hotty (Non-Title)
OJ has new entrance music. Nice stuff. OJ doesn't look like a bad thug type of guy but his music is decent although it doesn't fit his style and looks. Scotty chant to begin. Jordan with a takedown. He applies a front facelock and then a side headlock. Off the ropes, Scotty runs right into a shoulderblock. Jordan poses. Scotty comes back with a couple of hiptosses and then he mocks Jordan's posing. A superkick attempt misses and off the ropes, Scotty baseball slides out of the ring. Back in, Scotty hits the flying headscissors, but he misses with a corner charge. Jordan applies a hammerlock and then an armwringer. Scotty attempts a comeback with a series of fists. He then hits a flying elbow off the ropes and follows up with a back bodydrop. He again tries a corner charge, but runs right into an elbow. Jordan misses a clothesline, Scotty connects with a superkick and both men are down.
Scotty nips up and looks for the bulldog, but Jordan catches him with a clothesline. He then hits an impact DDT and covers Scotty for the 1-2-3.
Thanks for joining me.
